Sales framework

Les cartes de Lily is the personal website of a private individual selling Pokémon cards from their own private collection. It is not a commercial enterprise. Sales are governed by the French Civil Code provisions applicable to sales between private individuals (articles 1582 and following).

No direct online payment takes place on this site: you submit a reservation request, and the seller contacts you by email to confirm availability and finalize the transaction.

Shipping costs and delivery methods

All orders are carefully packed in protective sleeves (sleeves / toploaders with rigid reinforcement in bubble mailers or boxes). The total shipping weight is calculated as 20 g for packaging plus 2 g per card.

1. Hand delivery

Hand delivery is free (0 €). The meeting place and time are agreed by email once your reservation is accepted.

2. Standard tracked shipping (orders under 50.00 €)

For orders where cards total less than 50.00 €, shipments are handled by La Poste via Lettre verte suivie or Colissimo with tracking:

3. Registered shipping with signature R2 (mandatory for orders of 50.00 € or more)

To protect valuable cards and cover loss or damage in transit, any order where cards reach or exceed 50.00 € is strictly shipped with registered mail and signature on delivery (tier R2).

Rates are based on official La Poste postal tariffs effective 1 January 2026.

Response time and reservation hold period

• Response time: the seller reviews and replies to your reservation request typically within 48 hours (up to 120 hours during absences or without immediate alerts).
• Hold period: once your reservation is accepted, the cards are held and reserved for you for 7 calendar days. If payment is not received or no update is provided by the end of this period, the reservation is cancelled and cards are put back on sale.

Payment methods

Payment by Wero or PayPal (goods and services): the seller sends you the total amount, the reservation reference and payment details by email.

Commonly accepted methods include:

• Wero (instant mobile/email transfer);
• Bank transfer (IBAN provided upon acceptance);
• PayPal (goods and services option for buyer protection);
• Other methods agreed directly by email with the seller.

Each accepted reservation receives a unique reference (e.g. LILY-XXXXXXXX) which must be quoted in your payment description to ensure quick matching.

Return policy and claims

Under French law applicable to private sales between individuals, the statutory 14-day cooling-off / withdrawal period reserved for business purchases (French Consumer Code) does not apply. Sales are final once concluded.

However, to ensure fair and satisfactory transactions, returns are accepted under the following conditions:

• Eligible reason: clear non-conformity of the received card compared to the listing photographs and description, or proven damage occurring during postal transit.
• Reporting deadline: you have 14 calendar days from delivery of the package to contact the seller by email with clear photos of the card and packaging.
• Return shipping: after written agreement with the seller, the card(s) must be returned in their original protective sleeve and packaging (or equal quality protection), using tracked or registered shipping matching the initial dispatch method.
• Return shipping costs: return postage is reimbursed by the seller if non-conformity or postal damage is confirmed.
• Refund: refund of card price and initial shipping cost is processed within 7 days after receipt and inspection of the returned card, using the original payment method.
